COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

We work hard to deliver real value to our customers. As an innovative member of American manufacturing, we also care deeply about and actively support local high schools, community colleges and universities in their efforts to promote and advance the fields of engineering and manufacturing.

  • We are an active supporter of FIRST Robotics and sponsor a team from Our Lady of the Lakes High School in Waterford, Michigan.
  • We sponsor Junior Achievement STEMworks programs that reach over 700 middle school and high school students in Michigan.
  • Our employees volunteer as judges at local robotics/engineering competitions.
  • As a member of the Capital Area Manufacturing Council, we meet monthly with local manufacturing companies to share best practices.
  • We participate in National Manufacturing Day every October, hosting over 80 students from mid-Michigan high schools to tour our facilities.
  • As a member of the Detroit Economic Club, we sponsor student groups from local high schools, giving them the opportunity to meet leaders from Fortune 100 companies and the executive and legislative branches of the federal government.
  • Company leaders sit on local high school, community college and university advisory boards that influence both curriculum and programs future employees are exposed to while in school.
